Mera Khwab 1943

Mera Khwab is a Bollywood movie released in 1980 and directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The main stars are Shashi Kapoor, Rekha, Amjad Khan, Nirupa Roy and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The story revolves around two brothers, Raja and Gopi, who are from a small village. Raja has left the village to pursue his dreams and become a successful businessman in the city. He meets a beautiful girl named Meena and falls in love with her. But, due to social norms, the pair cannot marry as Meena belongs to a higher class family. Raja's brother Gopi comes to stay with him and gets involved in a fight with some thugs hired by a local politician. As a result, he is arrested and sentenced to prison. Raja decides to save his brother by helping him escape from jail and they both go back to their village. In the end, Raja manages to win over Meena's family and get married to her. Thus, the story of Mera Khwab has a happy ending which shows that hard work and determination can help one achieve their goals.
