Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl tells the inspiring story of an Indian Air Force pilot. Gunjan, a young girl from Dehradun, dreams of becoming an air force pilot like her brother and father before her. Despite facing obstacles along the way, she perseveres and eventually is accepted into the Air Force Academy. She continues to face sexism and ridicule from her male peers during training, but she doesn't give up and ultimately succeeds in becoming one of the first female combat pilots in India's history. During the Kargil War of 1999, she was sent to the front lines to provide critical medical aid and evacuation services to injured soldiers. Gunjan's courage and resourcefulness in the face of danger were an inspiration to all of those around her, and she was awarded the Shaurya Vir award for her bravery and service. Gunjan's story is an inspiring reminder that, with hard work and determination, anyone can reach their goals regardless of gender or background.
