Story

Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a 2010 Indian historical drama film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, based on the book Do and Die: The Chittagong Uprising 1930-34, written by Manini Chatterjee. The story follows Surjya Sen (Abhishek Bachchan) who leads a group of youngsters to revolt against British imperialism in 1930s India. His young rebels train in secrecy and launch an attack on the British establishment in the small town of Chittagong, which is swiftly crushed by the superior weaponry of the enemy. Despite their failure, Surjya and his comrades become legendary figures in India's struggle for freedom. The bravery and uncompromising dedication of the revolutionaries serve as an inspiration to the people of the country and spur them on to continue their fight for independence.
