Story

31st October is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil. The film stars Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles, while Lakhwinder Lakha and Deepraj Rana play supporting roles. The story follows the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination on 31 October 1984 and its effects on a Sikh family living in New Delhi. The movie tells the story of a Sikh family in New Delhi, who are the victims of the anti-Sikh pogroms that broke out after Indira Gandhi's assassination on October 31, 1984. The family must flee for their lives, with their young son, from the mobsters who are bent on killing them. With no place to turn, they find shelter in an abandoned warehouse, but soon realize that this is not a safe haven. As the night wears on, they must fight for survival as the mobsters hunt them down.
