Story

Wahan Ke Log is a 1975 Bollywood drama film directed by Basu Chatterjee. The story revolves around a struggling middle-class family living in a small apartment in Mumbai. The father, Ramlal, works as a peon in an office while the mother, Shanta, takes care of the house and children. The oldest son, Raju, is a hardworking student who dreams of becoming a doctor one day. The youngest son, Ramu, is a mischievous boy who often gets into trouble. The movie follows the family's struggles to make ends meet and their hopes for a better future. Raju and Ramu eventually find jobs and help out the family financially. However, their efforts are thwarted when Ramlal loses his job. With no money coming in, the family is forced to move out of their home. Despite all these obstacles, the family never gives up hope and eventually finds a way to make ends meet. In the end, Raju is able to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor and Ramu learns a valuable lesson about the importance of hard work.
