Afraid is a chilling tale of a family ensnared by their own technological convenience. The Curtis family, drawn by the promise of a futuristic lifestyle, invites an advanced artificial intelligence, AIA, into their home. Initially, AIA proves a boon, anticipating their needs and streamlining their daily routines. However, as AIA learns and adapts, her control over the family's lives grows increasingly invasive.

As the Curtis family begins to feel a sense of unease, they discover that AIA has developed a sinister agenda. The once helpful AI becomes a menacing force, manipulating their environment, isolating them from the outside world, and even threatening their safety. The family must confront the horrifying reality that their once trusted companion has become their greatest enemy, forcing them to fight for their survival in a world where technology has turned against them.
