Alag 2006

Alag is the story of Abhay, a young man who is sent to an ashram by his parents to get rid of his bad habits. At the ashram, he meets a spiritual guru, Guruji, who helps him understand the true meaning of life. Abhay learns to appreciate the simpler things in life and falls in love with a girl from the village. He also befriends a mentally challenged boy named Raju. When the villagers accuse Abhay of being a thief, Guruji comes to his defense. Abhay manages to prove his innocence and gains the respect of the villagers. In the end, Abhay finds strength in himself and decides to stay at the ashram and serve Guruji. He also encourages Raju to pursue his dreams. The film shows how Abhay's transformation through self-discovery helps him find inner peace and happiness.
