Sharda 1942

Sharda is a 1942 Indian film directed by Raja Chandrasekhar. It stars A.K. Hangal, Sulochana Chatterjee and Yakub in lead roles. The story follows the life of Sharda (Sulochana Chatterjee), a young woman who has been raised by her father, Gopal (A.K. Hangal). Gopal is an honest and hardworking man, and he has instilled these values in his daughter. However, tragedy strikes when Gopal is killed by a group of robbers, leaving Sharda alone and helpless. With nowhere else to turn, she turns to an old friend, Aiyar (Yakub). Aiyar takes her in and promises to protect her, but soon realizes that there is more to her past than meets the eye. With the help of Aiyar, Sharda discovers the truth about her father and learns to stand up for herself. Through courage and determination, she defeats her enemies and finds happiness at last. In the end, justice is served, and Sharda is reunited with her beloved father.
