Badnaam Gali 2019

Badnaam Gali is a heartwarming story of love and acceptance. It follows the story of Sameer (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Zoya (Yami Gautam), two strangers from different backgrounds who are brought together by fate. When Zoya, a Muslim girl, finds herself pregnant and abandoned by her fiancé, she turns to Sameer for help. With nowhere else to turn, she begs for his help in getting an abortion. Although Sameer is initially hesitant to help her, he eventually agrees, and the two form an unlikely bond. The two embark on a journey to find an abortion clinic, only to be met with prejudice and judgement from society. In order to protect Zoya, Sameer pretends they are married, to cover up the fact that she is pregnant and unmarried. Through their journey, Sameer and Zoya discover the power of love and acceptance, and come to learn that a person's religion or background shouldn't prevent them from being loved and supported. In the end, despite all odds, Zoya and Sameer get the help they need and part ways as better people.
