Samadhi 1972

Samadhi is a 1972 Indian drama film, directed by P. Subramaniam and starring Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini. The story revolves around a young man, Raju (Rajesh Khanna), who is sent to the city by his parents to work as a labourer in a factory. He meets a beautiful girl, Nisha (Hema Malini), who he falls in love with. However, their relationship is short-lived, as Nisha's father forces her to marry another man. Devastated, Raju returns home and decides to become a yogi. He meets an old saint who trains him and soon becomes adept at meditation and spiritual practices.
