Story

Rakht is a psychological thriller film released in 2004. The story follows Sanjana, a young woman who is tormented by her past. She has a history of mental illness and is haunted by visions of a man she believes is her father. Sanjana's life takes a turn for the worse when her psychiatrist is murdered and she is accused of the crime. With the help of an investigative journalist, she begins to unravel the mystery behind her visions and discovers a shocking truth about her past. The investigation leads her to a web of deceit and corruption which she must confront in order to find peace. In the end, Sanjana learns that the only way to move on is to accept her past and forgive those responsible. Rakht is a gripping tale about the power of redemption and the strength of the human spirit.
