Dybbuk 2021

Dybbuk is a Yiddish ghost story about a young woman, Leah, who is betrothed to a man she does not love. When her true love, Channon, dies tragically, his soul takes possession of Leah's body. With the help of a Rabbi, they find a way to reunite the souls and send Channon's spirit away to peace. The story follows Leah as she struggles with the consequences of this supernatural event and ultimately finds acceptance and joy. After confronting her inner demons, Leah is able to return to her life with newfound appreciation and understanding. In the end, Leah and Channon are able to find each other once more, but this time in a spiritual form rather than a physical one. Through the power of faith and love, their two souls are able to transcend the boundaries of death and live on together.
