Cargo 2019

Cargo is a 2019 Australian sci-fi horror film directed by Yolanda Ramke and Ben Howling. The story follows Andy (Martin Freeman), who has just 48 hours to protect his daughter Rosie from an infection that turns people into zombies. After his wife Kay (Susie Porter) is infected, Andy is forced to seek shelter in a remote Aboriginal community. He meets Thoomi (Simone Landers), a young girl who helps him on his journey. Together they must traverse the outback while trying to stay one step ahead of the rapidly spreading infection. Along the way, they must overcome the harsh environment as well as the hostile zombies who hunt them. In the end, Andy discovers the true cost of protecting his daughter and the power of human connection.
