Mulk 2018

Mulk is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The story follows the struggles of an elderly Muslim couple, Murad Ali and his wife Safia, after their son Shahid returns home with his Hindu wife, Aarti. This causes tension within the family due to religious bias in their small town. When Shahid is accused of being involved in a terrorist attack, Murad and Safia must defend their son and protect their family's honor. Through a series of events, they are able to prove that Shahid is innocent and that the attack was actually committed by a group of extremists. In the end, Murad and Safia are able to move past their differences and stand together for justice.
