Mohre 1987

Mohre (The Master) is a 1987 Indian drama film directed by G. Ashok. The story revolves around a young man, Raja (Mohanlal), who is a master of the traditional art of puppetry. His family has been in the business for generations. However, things take a turn when he meets an attractive village girl, Aarti (Revathi). He falls in love with her, despite their class differences. Raja's master (Anupam Kher) disapproves of the relationship and demands that Raja give up his dream of performing Mohre. In order to prove himself and win back his master's approval, Raja performs a daring stunt during a show. His act is successful and he marries Aarti. The movie highlights how Raja is able to overcome obstacles to achieve his dreams and find true love.
