Mahal is a 1969 Indian thriller film directed by Kamal Amrohi and starring Ashok Kumar, Madhubala, and Zeb Rehman. The story follows Rajesh, a young man who moves to a remote village and falls in love with a beautiful girl named Gauri. He discovers that the mansion he has moved into is actually her ancestral home, and he learns about its dark past. It turns out that the house is haunted by the spirit of Gauri's ancestor, who was killed for his love. Rajesh and Gauri must now face the dangers of the supernatural, while also fighting the disapproval of their family and society. In the end, they are able to overcome all obstacles and find true love.
