Story

Eklavya is a 2007 Indian drama film about the struggles of an outcast in a royal family. Eklavya is an outcast who was once a royal guard, and has been denied his rightful place in the royal court. Despite this treatment, he continues to serve the family loyally as a palace guard. When the royal heir, Prince Harshwardhan, is named, Eklavya is passed over in favor of another guard, Dev Dutt. In order to gain acceptance into the royal family, Eklavya seeks the help of the court's Guruji, whose teachings he had learned since childhood. Guruji agrees to train Eklavya so that he can prove himself worthy of being part of the royal guard. After much hard work and dedication, Eklavya eventually succeeds in proving himself to the family. He is finally accepted back into the royal court, and is allowed to take his rightful place as the royal guard.
