Chehra is a 1946 Indian romantic drama film directed by M. Sadiq and starring Ashok Kumar, Naseem Banu, Yakub, and Murad. The story revolves around Anand (Kumar), a crippled young man who falls in love with the beautiful Meena (Banu). However, his disability prevents him from doing anything to pursue her. One day, he meets Baba (Yakub), a kind-hearted elderly man who takes him under his wing and teaches him how to stand and walk on his own. With the help of Baba, Anand regains his strength and attempts to win Meena's heart. Unfortunately, Meena is already engaged to another man and is not interested in Anand. Despite this, Anand remains determined and eventually succeeds in winning her over. In the end, the two lovers are happily reunited and marry each other. Chehra is a timeless romance that celebrates the power of love and determination.
