Bhai Bahen 1950

Bhai Bahen is a 1959 Indian drama film directed by Lekhraj Bhakri and starring Balraj Sahni, Nirupa Roy, Lalita Pawar and Mehmood. The story revolves around two siblings, elder brother Ram (Balraj Sahni) and younger sister Gauri (Nirupa Roy). Ram loves his sister very much and takes care of her like a mother. When Gauri falls in love with Sanjeev (Anoop Kumar), their parents do not approve of the match and arrange for Gauri to marry someone else. Ram, however, decides to rescue his sister and get her married to the man she loves. He succeeds in doing so and the couple lives happily ever after.
