Priyatama 1977

Priyatama tells the story of two star-crossed lovers from different walks of life. Sarojini is from a rich family and Raja is an orphan. Despite their differences, they find themselves drawn to each other. When Sarojini's family finds out about their relationship, she is sent away to study abroad in the US. Raja, determined to stay with her, follows her there. After some struggles, they are finally able to reunite and eventually marry. The film ends on a positive note, with the couple happily married and living together. Priyatama is a romantic tale of true love overcoming all obstacles. This Indian movie follows the journey of Sarojini and Raja, who come from very different backgrounds.
