Om 2003

Om is a 2003 Indian action film directed by Upendra. The story follows a principled gangster, Om, who fights against the injustice and corruption in the society. Om is a fearless and powerful gang leader who spreads terror among his enemies. He is a beloved figure to the people of Bangalore, as he helps the poor and needy. However, he is also feared by the police and politicians because of his strong-arm tactics. Om meets Janaki, an idealistic doctor who loves him despite knowing his violent past. She wants him to change for the better, but Om refuses. When Janaki's father is killed by a corrupt politician, Om takes revenge and kills the politician. This leads to a massive manhunt for Om, and he is eventually arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. In prison, Om realises his mistake and decides to reform himself. After being released from prison, he helps the suffering poor and makes a difference in the lives of many. In the end, he finally reunites with Janaki and starts a new life.
