Story

Navrang tells the story of a young woman named Anusuya, who is married to a humble farmer. Anusuya's life changes when her husband is killed by a tyrannical zamindar (landlord) who was trying to take over their land. Anusuya is left alone with her two sons and she must find a way to save her family from destitution. With the help of her friend, Bhushan, Anusuya finds employment in the zamindar's palace as a nanny. Despite being treated as an outcast, Anusuya's kindness and determination wins the hearts of the zamindar and his family. In time, Anusuya develops a relationship with the zamindar's son, Munna, who helps her fight for her rights. Together they eventually succeed in gaining justice and reclaiming her lands. Navrang is a classic story of love, courage and resilience in the face of adversity. It portrays how even the most vulnerable can fight against discrimination and injustice in order to protect their families and homes.
