Bansuri: The Flute is a Hindi language film about the life of an impoverished yet talented flutist. It follows the story of Ashok, a young man from a rural village, who has a passion for music but is unable to make a living from it. He is taken in by a master flutist, Pandit Jasraj, who helps him develop his talent and eventually take part in a prestigious competition.
