Censor 2001

Censor is a 2001 film about a woman named Alice, a film censor who watches movies for a living. She is haunted by nightmares of her own past and has to confront them when she gets assigned to watch an old horror film she had seen as a child. During the course of watching the film, the horrors in it become more and more terrifying and Alice must face her inner demons in order to make it through the movie and live to tell the tale. In the end, Alice is able to overcome her fears and move forward with her life. The movie shows how sometimes facing your fears can be the best way to move forward.
