Bheegi Raat 1965

Bheegi Raat is a 1965 Bollywood film starring Ashok Kumar, Meena Kumari, Pradeep Kumar and Madan Puri. The story is set in the city of Kolkata and follows Raja (Pradeep Kumar) and his love interest, Radha (Meena Kumari). Raja's father, Rai Bahadur, is a wealthy businessman and disapproves of his son's love affair. He arranges for Raja to marry another woman. Radha, feeling betrayed, attempts suicide but is saved by her uncle, Dr. Banerjee (Ashok Kumar). Dr. Banerjee then decides to reunite Raja and Radha and arranges for them to meet at a park. However, their meeting is thwarted and Raja is arrested for theft. With the help of Dr. Banerjee, Radha manages to prove Raja's innocence and they are reunited. In the end, Raja's father accepts their relationship and gives his blessings. The movie ends on a happy note with Raja and Radha getting married.
