Story

Anmol Ghadi is a 1946 Bollywood movie about the life of an orphaned boy, Anmol. He was adopted by a wealthy man, Khan Bahadur, who raised him as his own son. Anmol grows up to be a kind and respectful young man, but he yearns for the love of his real parents. Despite his adoptive father's wealth, Anmol chooses to remain in poverty so that he can be closer to the people who remind him of his parents. One day, Anmol meets Noor Jehan, a beautiful singer. The two fall in love, but their relationship is challenged when Noor Jehan's father disapproves of the match. Over time, Anmol's identity is revealed and his true family background is discovered. In the end, Anmol and Noor Jehan reunite and are finally able to marry, with the blessing of both their families.
