Story

Aaja Nachle is an Indian dance film directed by Anil Mehta and released in 2007. The story revolves around Dia Sharma (Madhuri Dixit), a successful choreographer living in New York City. After she discovers that her old dance academy in India is in danger of being torn down, she decides to return to India to save it. Once there, she struggles to reconnect with the people of her village, as well as the old traditions and dances they still practice. Along the way, she overcomes obstacles, including the disapproval of her former mentor, as she works to bring the old dance academy back to life. With the help of her new friends, Dia ultimately succeeds in her mission. Aaja Nachle is a heartwarming story of determination, friendship, and the power of music and dance.
