Story

Sacred Evil – A True Story is an Indian horror film released in 2006. It is based on the real-life story of a family in Gujarat, India who encountered paranormal activity in their home. The film follows the story of the Jat family who moved into a house in Ahmedabad. Soon after moving in, they experience strange occurrences that cause them to believe it is haunted by a spirit. The family members attempt to contact the spirit and eventually learn that a young girl had died in the house many years prior and her spirit still lingers there. As the family becomes more accustomed to interacting with the spirit, they are able to help it move on to the afterlife. The film also explores the power of faith and how it can be used to combat what some perceive as evil. In the end, the family's faith is strong enough to save them from the hauntings and allow them to live peacefully in their new home.
