Phobia 2016

Phobia is a 2016 Indian psychological thriller film directed by Pavan Kirpalani and produced by Viki Rajani. The story follows Mehak (Radhika Apte), an artist who suffers from agoraphobia, an extreme fear of leaving her home. After she is attacked in her home, she moves to a new place where strange events begin to occur. She soon finds out that the house is haunted by the ghost of Simran (Nivedita Bhattacharya), a girl who died there many years ago. Mehak’s attempts to help Simran's spirit find closure are hindered by her own fears, which lead her down a dangerous path. In the end, with the help of her therapist, she is able to overcome her phobias and free herself from the ghost’s influence. Phobia is a tale of courage and overcoming fear in order to live a happier life.
