Story

Parwana is a 2003 Indian film about a young boy, Parwana, who lives in Afghanistan during the Taliban rule. He befriends an orphan girl and together they escape to India in search of her long-lost family. On their journey, they face many difficulties and challenges but ultimately find each other’s families. Parwana is an adventurous young boy living in a small Afghan village under the rule of the Taliban. He meets an orphaned girl, Laila, and the two become close friends. When Laila recalls that her family lived in India, she suggests they try to find them. With the help of a sympathetic truck driver, they embark on a dangerous journey across the border. Along the way, they face numerous obstacles, such as soldiers, bandits, and wild animals, but they never lose sight of their goal. Eventually, they make it to India and with the help of Parwana's family, they manage to locate Laila's family. Parwana and Laila are reunited with their respective families in a heartwarming reunion.
