Story

Megha is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Harish Shah. It stars Jackie Shroff and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles. The film tells the story of Megha, an orphaned young woman who lives in a small village with her grandmother. She meets a man called Vishal, who falls in love with her. Megha's life changes when Vishal takes her to the city and gives her a job as a housekeeper in his family home. Despite warnings from her grandmother, Megha continues to stay with Vishal's family, where she faces constant exploitation and humiliation. Eventually, she realizes that she has been used by Vishal and returns to her village to live her life with dignity. Megha learns that true strength comes from within and that no one can make her feel inferior without her consent. In the end, Megha is reunited with her grandmother and is able to live a peaceful life.
