Story

Maachis is a Bollywood film about the dark period of Punjab in the late 1980s. It follows a Sikh man named Jaggi who is fed up with the atrocities that have been inflicted upon his people. In an attempt to seek justice, he joins a militant group and becomes an active member of the Khalistan movement. The film follows Jaggi and his group as they fight for freedom and justice against the Indian government. Along the way, Jaggi meets Veeran, a passionate young boy who also wants to avenge his family's suffering. Eventually, Jaggi and Veeran join forces with other members of the movement and become one of its most powerful leaders. Through their actions, they cause immense pain and destruction, leading to a bloody confrontation between the militants and the Indian security forces. In the end, Jaggi and Veeran are forced to face the consequences of their actions and make peace with the government. The movie ends on an emotional note, showing how the conflict can be resolved through dialogue...
