Irada 2017

Irada is a 2017 Indian thriller film, directed by Aparnaa Singh and starring Naseeruddin Shah, Divya Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Sharad Kelkar and Sagarika Ghatge. The film follows the story of a female environmental activist, Ayesha (Divya Dutta) who finds herself in the midst of a political conspiracy involving chemical weapons. She teams up with an ex-army man, Rashid (Naseeruddin Shah) to uncover the truth and expose the criminals behind it. With the help of her lawyer friend, Neha (Sagarika Ghatge), she discovers that the company owned by former army officer Major Rudra Pratap Singh (Arshad Warsi) has been illegally dumping toxic waste in a nearby town and is also responsible for the death of a local doctor. When Ayesha and Rashid threaten to expose the truth, the mastermind behind the whole conspiracy (Sharad Kelkar) takes action to stop them. With her determination and courage, Ayesha finally succeeds in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
