Story

Chhote Sarkar is a 1996 Bollywood comedy film starring Govinda and Shilpa Shetty. The story follows Vikram, an unemployed young man who masquerades as a rich businessman in order to impress his love interest, Sapna. After winning her affections, Vikram discovers the true identity of her father, a local gangster called Chhote Sarkar. He then must prove himself by helping Chhote Sarkar raise the funds needed to save his daughter’s life. In order to do so, Vikram embarks on a series of funny and dangerous adventures which ultimately lead him to the truth about Sapna’s father. In the end, Vikram and Sapna are reunited and Chhote Sarkar realizes that money can’t buy happiness. Vikram, an unemployed young man, falls in love with Sapna and pretends to be a wealthy businessman in order to get close to her. His plan works but he soon finds out that Sapna’s father is a local gangster, Chhote Sarkar. To gain Chhote’s approval, Vikram sets off on a wild and comedic journey to raise the money need...
