Story

Blackmail is an Indian dark comedy crime film released in 2018. It is directed by Abhinay Deo and stars Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari, Arunoday Singh, Divya Dutta, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall, and Gajraj Rao. The story follows Dev Kaushal, a middle-aged married man who runs a small printing press. After discovering his wife has been unfaithful, he decides to blackmail her lover for money, despite the risk of getting caught. His plan goes awry when the lover’s wife finds out and threatens to turn him in to the police. As he frantically works to cover up his tracks, the situation spirals out of control. Blackmail follows Dev as he navigates a precarious web of secrets and lies. With his life on the line, he must find a way to protect himself while dealing with the consequences of his actions. In the end, he discovers that the truth can be stranger than fiction.
