Story

Zindagi is a 1976 Indian drama film about a young woman's journey to self-discovery. It follows Janki, a small village girl who leaves her home in search of a better life in the city. Along the way, she meets and befriends a variety of people who help her navigate the new culture and unfamiliar surroundings. Through these experiences, Janki discovers the true meaning of life and learns to appreciate the beauty of her own home. As she works hard, she eventually makes a name for herself in her adopted city and achieves success. Despite her newfound wealth, however, Janki never forgets where she came from and is always thankful for the kindness she was shown while on her journey. In the end, Janki finds the courage and strength to return home, embracing her roots and discovering the joy of living life to its fullest.
