Story

Yeh Hai Jalwa is an Indian romantic comedy film from 2002 starring Salman Khan and Ameesha Patel. The story follows Raja, a dashing young man who lives with his uncle and aunt in Mumbai. When he discovers that his deceased parents had left him a large inheritance, he decides to go back to the small village of Bhatinda, Punjab, to claim it. Upon his arrival, he runs into the lovely Anjali, the daughter of the town's leader. Raja soon learns that Anjali's father has promised her hand in marriage to another man, so Raja must find a way to win her over. With the help of his uncle and aunt, Raja devises a plan to win over Anjali. He enlists the help of local villagers to pretend they are his long lost family members, and together they create a ruse that eventually wins Anjali's heart. After facing various obstacles, Raja and Anjali finally get married and live happily ever after.
