Story

Yeh Hai Bakrapur is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film. It tells the story of a small village in Uttar Pradesh named Bakrapur, whose inhabitants are devoted to their local deity, the goat Shahrukh. The arrival of a wealthy and influential family from the city disrupts the peace of the village as they take over the temple and the villagers' lives. A battle ensues between the two sides, with the locals trying to reclaim their land and their deity, while the newcomers try to exploit the situation for their own gain. In the end, the villagers prevail as they prove that love and faith can overcome any obstacle. The film is a charming tale of faith, loyalty, and resilience in the face of adversity. It highlights the importance of standing together and fighting for one's beliefs.
