Story

Yaadgaar is a 1984 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Ramesh Talwar. The film stars Sanjeev Kumar, Nutan, Poonam Dhillon and Amrish Puri in leading roles. The movie follows the story of Ashok (Sanjeev Kumar), a successful business tycoon who is struggling to cope with the loss of his beloved wife, Kavita (Nutan). Ashok is left alone with their young son, Ravi (Master Babloo), and soon discovers that Kavita had taken out insurance policies on both of them before her death. When the insurance company refuses to pay out the money, he decides to take matters into his own hands and fight for what's rightfully theirs. As Ashok and Ravi explore the case further, they discover more secrets about Kavita's past, including a dark family tragedy. In the end, Ashok is able to prove that Kavita was indeed insured and receives the money he was due, but not without overcoming numerous obstacles along the way.
