Yaad Rakhegi Duniya 1992

Yaad Rakhegi Duniya is a 1992 Hindi film starring Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Divya Bharti. It tells the story of Raja, who falls in love with a village girl, Kiran. Despite objections from her father, they elope and get married. However, Kiran soon dies due to a snakebite. Raja is grief-stricken and returns to his home. His mother's dying wish is that he should find another girl like Kiran. He meets with a lookalike of Kiran named Jyoti and decides to marry her. But when he discovers that Jyoti is actually Kiran's sister, he agrees to honour his mother's wish and sets about finding a suitable bride for himself. Meanwhile, Jyoti falls in love with him and promises to wait until he finds someone else. In the end, Raja marries a girl of his family's choice but still loves Jyoti. The movie explores themes of love, loss, longing, and hope.
