Wah Taj 2016

Wah Taj is a 2016 Indian comedy drama film about a farmer, Tukaram Marathe from Maharashtra, who struggles to get back his ancestral land. This land was taken away by the local government and is now used for a tourist attraction. He decides to take legal action against the government, but soon finds that it is an uphill battle. In order to prove his claim, he and his family camp out on the land until the court case is resolved. With the help of a local lawyer and his son, they manage to get the attention of the media, thus creating a huge public outcry in their support. Eventually, they win their case and get their land back. Wah Taj is a heart-warming story about one man's fight for justice and for his rights.
