Vijeta 1996

Vijeta is a 1996 Indian action drama film directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. It tells the story of Virendra Pratap Singh (Sanjay Dutt), an unemployed unemployed youth who joins the Indian Air Force to become a fighter pilot. He is initially overlooked due to his lack of qualifications, but with the help of his friend Bhim Singh (Raj Babbar) and his mentor, Wing Commander Choudhary (Paresh Rawal), Virendra perseveres and eventually succeeds in becoming a successful fighter pilot. Along the way, he also finds romance with fellow trainee Anjali (Raveena Tandon). Despite facing obstacles such as a difficult training regime, a dangerous enemy in the sky, and personal struggles, Virendra is ultimately able to achieve success and honour. In the end, he is awarded the Vir Chakra, India's highest military award.
