Story

Vidya is an Indian Tamil-language film released in 2020. It tells the story of a young widow named Vidya who moves to Chennai with her daughter to start a new life. She finds a job as a domestic help and soon becomes friends with the family she works for. However, her past slowly catches up with her and she is forced to confront it. As she struggles to come to terms with her past, she learns to forgive, move on, and ultimately finds inner peace. With the help of her newfound family, Vidya manages to find hope and joy in her new life and discovers the strength to face her fears head-on. In the end, she realizes that her past does not define her and she is capable of living a better life.
