Uri: The Surgical Strike 2019

Uri: The Surgical Strike is an Indian action film released in 2019. It tells the story of Major Vihaan Singh Sherghil of the Indian Army, who led the titular surgical strike in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. After witnessing the death of his comrades, Vihaan is determined to avenge their deaths and take the fight to the enemy. He leads a covert team of commandos to infiltrate Pakistani territory and launch a strategic surgical strike on the terror camps. Ultimately, the mission is successful, and India is able to exact revenge for the attack on Uri. The movie was a huge success, both commercially and critically, and won numerous awards. It celebrated the courage and valor of Indian soldiers and their commitment to protect the nation.
