Tribhanga 2021

Tribhanga is a 2020 Indian drama film directed by Renuka Shahane. The story follows Anuradha Apte, a middle-aged woman who has to put her life back together after suffering a personal tragedy. She is helped by her daughter Masha and granddaughter Aashi, who have trouble understanding each other but eventually bond through their shared grief. Anuradha discovers the ancient Tribhanga pose which helps her reconnect with herself and her family. In the end, Anuradha’s journey of self-discovery heals her relationships with her children and gives them all a new appreciation for life. Tribhanga is an emotionally charged story about a woman’s journey of healing and reconciliation. Anuradha must confront her past in order to make peace with her present, and in the process finds solace in the ancient poses of Tribhanga. Through her struggles and experiences, she is able to build bridges between her estranged daughter and granddaughter and heal her fractured family.
