The Sky Is Pink is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language biographical romantic drama film directed by Shonali Bose. The film follows the story of a couple, Aditi and Niren Chaudhary, who are emotionally rekindled after the death of their daughter Aisha. Aditi and Niren had been happily married for 25 years when they were blessed with a daughter, Aisha. Aisha was born with a rare genetic disorder known as pulmonary fibrosis which caused her to become critically ill. Despite treatment, Aisha's condition worsened and the family had to face the reality that she would not make it. Aditi and Niren cope with the tragedy in different ways. Aditi turns to writing while Niren continues his work as a motivational speaker. Through the tragedy, their bond is strengthened and they learn that life can be beautiful even in the darkest of times.
