Story

The Great Gambler is a classic Bollywood film, released in 1979. It stars Amitabh Bachchan as a small-time conman and casino hustler who dreams of becoming a big shot. He meets up with a wealthy industrialist who offers him a job at his casino. However, the industrialist has ulterior motives and soon both of them are locked in a bitter rivalry. The Great Gambler follows a thrilling story of deceit, betrayal, revenge, and redemption. Bachchan's character is an ambitious and talented trickster who must use all his guile to outwit his opponents. As the stakes get higher, he must choose between loyalty and power.
