Story

The Burning Train is a 1980 Indian action thriller film, directed by Ravi Chopra and written by Salim-Javed. The film stars Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Jeetendra, Parveen Babi, Hema Malini, Neetu Singh, Simi Garewal and Danny Denzongpa. The plot revolves around a train journey from Jhansi to Bombay on the occasion of India's Republic Day. In order to prevent a major disaster, a group of courageous people must work together to save the passengers of the burning train. One of the passengers, Ranjit (Dharmendra), is a special agent who has been assigned to investigate the sabotage of the train. He teams up with fellow passengers (Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi) to try to save the day. Together, they discover that a dangerous criminal named Karan (Danny Denzongpa) is behind the sabotage.
