Story

The Blueberry Hunt is a 2016 Indian drama film directed and co-produced by Anup Kurian. The story follows a reclusive plantation owner living in the rainforest of Kerala, India as he fights to protect his land from an aggressive business tycoon. The plantation owner's life is disrupted when he is visited by a group of five strangers who are on a mission to hunt for the legendary blueberry plant. The stranger's presence causes friction between the plantation owner and his workers, especially with the local tribal people, who view the outsiders as a threat. As the visitors stay longer, tensions mount, and the plantation owner is forced to make a difficult decision: whether or not to let the strange guests stay or risk losing his land forever. Ultimately, the story of The Blueberry Hunt is a powerful tale of hope, courage, and faith in the face of adversity.
