Teri Baahon Mein 1984

Teri Baahon Mein is a romantic drama film starring Raj Babbar and Smita Patil. The story revolves around Ajay, a young man who falls in love with the beautiful Shikha, daughter of a wealthy businessman. After a tumultuous courtship, they get married and head off to Ajay's hometown for their honeymoon. Here, Ajay discovers that his mother has been forced to work as a servant for Shikha's family. Filled with rage, Ajay confronts Shikha's father and leaves her in anger. When he returns home, he finds out that his mother had died while he was away. Distraught and guilt-ridden, he goes off to find Shikha and make amends. He eventually finds her in a small village and apologizes for his behavior. With time they fall back in love and decide to start a new life together. They travel to Ajay's hometown where they are welcomed with open arms by all the villagers. Together, they are able to rebuild Ajay's ancestral house and live happily ever after.
